"PULITZER  PRIZE" winning  photo  taken  in  1994  during  the  Sudan  famine. The  picture  depicts  a  famine  stricken  child  crawling  towards  an  United  Nations  food  camp,  located  a  kilometer  away. The  vulture  is  waiting  for  the  child  to  die  so  that  it  can  eat  it.  This  picture  shocked  the  whole  world.  No  one  knows  what  happened  to  the  child,  including  the  photographer  Kevin Carter  who  left  the  place  as  soon  as  the  photograph  was  taken. Three  months  later  he  committed  suicide  due  to  depression.   이 사진은 1994년 아프리카 수단에서 한 어린아이가 1킬로나 되는 유엔 식량캠프를 찾아가는 도중 기진하여 쓰러져 죽어가는 모습과 뒤에서 죽기를 기다리는 독수리를 함께 찍은 사진입니다. 이 사진으로 사진작가 케빈 카터는 퓰리처 상을 받았습니다만 그는 이 어린이를 구하지 못하고 사진만 찍은 것이 끝내 그에게 우울증을 앓게하여 3개월 후에 자살하여 죽었습니다. 오늘 이 지구 상에는 먹지 못하여 굶어죽는 사람이 너무나 많습니다. 우리는 그들을 잊고 삽니다.
