마리안느 페이스풀(Marinne Faithful)은

1946년 런던에서 귀족의 딸로 원래 쇼비지네스 계와는 거리가 먼 엄격한 가정의 출신입니다.
이러한 그녀가 연예계에 발을 딛게 된 것은 어느 파티석상에서 롤링 스톤즈의 매니저에게 발탁되면서부터죠.
청순하고 연민의 정을 느낄 수 있는 목소리로 청중들의 마음을 사로잡은 그녀는 <As Tears Go By>, <This Little Bird>등의

곡이 밀리언셀러를 기록함으로써 스타덤에 올라섰답니다.
마리안느는 영화에도 출연하여 아랑드롱과 공연한「그대 품에 다시 한번 」에서 개성적인 연기를 보여 주기도 하였습니다.
