Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - Eye of the Tiger-Rocky3 OST   Eminem & Shaggy - Eye Of The Tiger       1977년, 추운 날씨로 유명한 시카고에서 살아남은 서바이버는 주축 멤버인 키보디스트 짐 페테릭   Jim Peterik과 기타리스트 프랭키 설리반Frankie Sullivan이 거의 모든 노래들을 작곡하는 성인 취향의 팝록 밴드였다.   멜로딕하면서도 호전적인 분위기를 제공한 'Eye of the tiger'는   빌보드 싱글차트 6주간 정상을 차지한 것을 비롯해 그래미 록부문 최우수 그룹상 수상, 피플스 초이스 어워드 최우수 신곡상   수상, 아카데미 주제가상 후보에 오르는 등 이 한 곡으로 거의 모든 영광을 차지했다.   한편 국내에서는 이 곡이 들어있는 음반 에 수록된 Ever since the world began'라는 발라드 곡이 팝팬들의 많은 사랑을 받았다.   평범한 권투 영화 록키3를 한 단계 업그레이드시킨 것은 서바이버 Survivor가 부른 주제가 Eye of the tiger다. 이 곡은 스크린의 긴장감을 200% 살리면서 성공적인 흥행을 일궈내는데 견인차 역할을 했다
